Vrulja – Mijakovići road: The last prestressed girder on bridge number 2 was installed
At the Vrulja – Mijakovići construction site, the last designed prestressed girder on bridge number 2 was installed, thus completing this phase of bridge construction. Bemax coordinator for engineering constructions, Nikola Zejak, announced this to Portal ETV.
He reminded that two bridges with a length of 126 and 156 meters with a total of 45 prefabricated elements are being built on the Vrulja – Mijakovići road.
“The installation of the prestressed girders on bridge number 1 was completed last week and, according to an earlier announcement, the formwork of the cantilever overhangs of the edge cornices is now being completed on that bridge, as well as the reinforcement of the upper slab of the bridge and preparations for concreting,” said Zejak.

He announced that this phase of work is expected in the coming days on bridge number 2.
“This phase of work, on bridge number 2, now, after the completion of the installation of the mounting brackets, awaits us in the coming days,” added Zejak.
As a reminder, the section Vrulje – Mijakovići is seven and a half kilometers long and connects the regional road Sljepač most – Trlica with the highway Pljevlja – Đurđevića Tara.
After the completion of the works, a significant improvement in traffic connections between Pljevlja and cities in the north is expected.
