Slijepač Most – Berane section completed; Alomerović: Everything completed on time despite difficult terrain and additional works
The section of the road from Slijepac Bridge to Berane has been completed – the total length of the section is 35 km, said Irfan Alomerović, an engineer at the Bemax company.
As he added, this is a very demanding section where they had to completely reconstruct the road structure, reconstruct the tunnel, repair seven bridges, regulate drainage, repair landslides and slopes.
“Despite the difficult terrain, short deadline, additional works and the traffic itself, which was very intense, we completed the planned works within the planned deadline. Today we have a modern main road that is in accordance with all standards and regulations,” Alomerović emphasized.
Alomerović thanked the investors, consultants, subcontractors and all other participants in this project for, as he said, a successfully completed project.
“I would also like to thank the citizens who have been understanding of our activities from day one,” Alomerović concluded.
