Ivanovic: Reconstruction of the Marina Valley-Radovan Luka road is very important for Žabljak, works continue intensively
“The deadline for completion of the works is six months, while we will complete this project a little more than two months ahead of schedule,” said the company’s engineer.

The reconstruction of the Marina Valley-Radovan Luka road is a very important infrastructure project for the Municipality of Žabljak. So far, over three kilometers of road have been asphalted on this road and the works will continue intensively for several more days if weather conditions permit, said Nemanja Ivanović, an engineer from the Bemax company, to TV E.
He points out that this is a very complicated reconstruction of the 7.1 kilometer long road.
“Given that the starting and ending points of this road have an elevation difference of over 600 meters above sea level, this clearly speaks of the longitudinal slope of the road. The road still passes through a part of about two kilometers through the Durmitor National Park, so the works had to be adapted to that environment. But our company has machinery and a professional engineering team that is closely specialized in this type of work,” emphasized Ivanović.
The Bemax company, which is the contractor, announces that the road reconstruction will be completed before the legal deadline.
“The deadline for completion of the works is six months, while we will complete this project a little more than two months ahead of schedule. The value of the works is 1.3 million, including VAT,” said the company’s engineer.
Ivanović also thanked the Ministry of Public Works, which, as he says, helped solve numerous problems with their consultations in order to successfully bring this project to a close.
