This wind farm is designed with a capacity of 54.6 megawatts (MW), and with its 13 turbines, it will produce an average of about 150 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of electricity per year. This is enough to supply more than 25,000 households and represents a significant step towards the reduction of CO₂ emissions and the energy transition of Montenegro.

The Gvozd wind power plant is the result of several years of planning and cooperation of EPCG with international partners, and its importance is reflected not only in the increase of energy production from renewable sources, but also in the preservation of the energy sovereignty of Montenegro. The project is part of EPCG’s broader plan to significantly increase the share of green energy in the overall production mix in the coming years.
